Nobody doubts the importance and relevance of gastronomy in the development of quality tourism.
Gastronomy is the second most important reason for tourism.
In Aragon, a frontier land of consensus between north and south and a symbol of piece and harmony, is, of the four cultures, the most ideal place to reflect on gastronomy. Residents of the Basque Country, Catalonia, Navarre, Valencia: all of them producers and creators of globally renowned cuisine.
The 2009 edition comes on the back of Expo Zaragoza 2008, which confirms the foregoing, and of three completed editions of the FORUM.
We count on the support, complicity and collaboration of all the culinary agents: gastronomy academy, cooks, maitres d'hôtel, sommeliers, tapas bars. Annual collaboration agreements have been signed with them for many years.
This IV Forum can be seen as the colophon, the continuation of the hugely successful III Aragon Gastronomy Plan.
